In March 2020, Leon Pasadyn, 57, welcomed his daughter Felicia, 19, again dwelling to Hinckley, Ohio, from school to complete the semester remotely. Though he was accustomed to consuming one or two meals with meat every day, he agreed to “drift” as Felicia experimented with a plant-based eating regimen. As he shared her creations, his meat consumption quickly dropped to a few times monthly.
