Senator Stabenow highlighting funding to expand mental health, addiction services


LANSING, Mich. (WILX) – The not too long ago handed federal funds means Mid-Michigan has extra funding for psychological well being and dependancy companies.

Friday, U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow is holding a press convention to indicate how Group Psychological Well being Authority of Clinton, Eaton and Ingham Counties will use that funding. Stabenow can be joined by CEO Sara Lurie of the Group Psychological Well being Authority of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties, CEO Robert Sheehan of the Group Psychological Well being Affiliation of Michigan, and Ingham County Sheriff Scott Wriggelsworth.

There are presently 33 places being funded in Michigan, together with the Group Psychological Well being Authority of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties.
