ELKHART, Iowa – A enterprise in Elkhart is giving folks the chance to recycle their undesirable Halloween pumpkins.
The Holton Homestead encourages folks to go away their pumpkins in a bin outdoors of its property at 13779 NE twenty ninth Road in Elkhart.
The enterprise will use the undesirable pumpkins to feed the chickens, pigs and turkeys on its farm.
“Our animals and birds like to eat them. We type of smash them up, they usually simply get recycled again into the bottom or as meals for these guys,” stated The Holton Homestead worker Reanna Holton.
