In a medium saucepan over excessive warmth, carry 1 1/2 cups water and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to a boil. Add the quinoa, cut back the warmth to low, cowl and prepare dinner till the water is absorbed and the quinoa is tender, about 17 minutes. (If the quinoa remains to be moist, uncover, enhance the warmth to medium-low and prepare dinner, stirring, for 1 extra minute.) Take away from the warmth and preserve coated.
