SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – A trial date was set for a former Smith County elections administrator that’s accused of tricking two workers into consuming colon cleanser in April of 2021.
The trial date for Denise Hernandez is about for March 9, 2022. Hernandez was charged with two counts of assault inflicting bodily harm for allegedly giving the workers colon cleanser and claiming it was a “Spark” vitality drink, stated the Smith County Sheriff’s Workplace.
Hernandez was the supervisor of two feminine victims that she allegedly gave colon cleanser to in a cup. The ladies stated they got a cup with a pink liquid by Hernandez, and the 2 ladies consumed the drink. The Smith County Sheriff’s Workplace stated that Hernandez requested the ladies in the event that they completed the beverage after which confirmed them a bottle of colon cleanser and made enjoyable of them for consuming the product.
