ALLIANCE, OHIO – The West Virginia Wesleyan (0-1) lacrosse staff fell at Mount Union (1-0) by a rating of 18-2 at Mount Union Stadium.
WVWC Leaders
Emma Adcock led the Bobcats offensively with two objectives. Adcock fired 9 photographs and 4 photographs on objective to go along with a floor ball and a prompted turnover. Netminder Maggie Wroe made 16 saves and confronted 34 photographs on objective. Kaitlynn Canby prompted three turnovers.
Mount Union Leaders
Eden Kesler collected six objectives. Julia Bates led the Raiders with three assists. Delaney Allen grabbed three floor balls. Kesler led Mount Union with 5 prompted turnovers. Molly McGinnis was credited the win because the goaltender, making one save.
Contained in the First Half
The Raiders scored ten objectives within the first quarter of play. Sydney Bumbarger bought the Raiders on the board lower than three minutes into the sport. Kesler scored half of her objectives within the first quarter of motion. The house staff led 14-0 at intermission.
Contained in the Second Half
Adcock bought the Girl Bobcats on the board through a short-handed objective with 2:16 left within the third quarter. The freshman added one other short-handed objective with two minutes left within the recreation. Mount Union cruised 18-2 for his or her first win of the season.
