ST. MARYS — The St. Marys Group Live performance Band will carry out a Sounds of the Season live performance 7 p.m. at present on the St. Marys Excessive Faculty Auditorium.
The live performance is introduced by the Pleasants County Center Faculty and St. Marys Excessive Faculty and can function a group of Christmas favorites.
Composed of about 60 residents and performed by Rocky Wiseman and Wayne Smith, the St. Marys Group Live performance Band has carried out since 1999 that includes music from the piccolo, flute, clarinet, saxophone, English horn, French horn, trumpet, trombone, euphonlum, tuba and percussion devices.
At present’s efficiency is devoted to the Rev. Randy Mitchell who handed away in September. He was a long-time band member who performed the French horn.
“Tonight, a chair sits empty in his reminiscence, representing the void left by his absence and the way missed he’s by the members of the SMCCB,” band members stated in this system.
Pre-concert music by pianist Kris Hinrichs will start at 6:35 p.m.
Admission is free, however donations of any quantity will probably be accepted to profit the Pleasants County Center Faculty Band and Instrumental Music Program.
