Veggie Falafel
Serves 6
Substances:
1 cup chopped veggies, similar to carrots, cauliflower, or broccoli
1 (16-ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
½ cup all-purpose or oat flour
¼ cup uncooked sesame seeds
2 cloves garlic, grated
1-2 teaspoons floor cumin
¼ cup recent cilantro, parsley, or oregano
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon floor black pepper
¼ cup canola oil, for frying
Instructions:
- Add the veggies to a meals processor and pulse till finely chopped.
- Add the chickpeas, flour, sesame seeds, garlic, cumin, cilantro, salt and pepper.
- Pulse till the combination is mixed and largely easy.
- Roll the dough into rounded tablespoon measurement balls.
- Add 2 tablespoons of the oil to a non-stick skillet and warmth till shimmering. Fry the balls for 3-5 minutes or till golden and cooked by. Drain onto paper towels.
