NEW CONCORD — In partnership with surrounding organizations, Muskingum College has been awarded practically $1 million by the Division of Labor for workforce growth.
The three-year, $970,227 Constructing Healthcare Pathways in Rural Appalachian Ohio grant advantages communities within the area by a partnership between instructional establishments and well being care amenities.
In accordance with Muskingum College, the grant program will create and implement industry-recognized well being care credentials in response to wants within the {industry}.
The credentials will serve dislocated staff, incumbent well being care staff and highschool college students in eight counties — Coshocton, Guernsey, Holmes, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble, Tuscarawas and Washington.
